Position: Bioinformatics Systems Administrator
Location: Stillwater Campus
Direct and implement computer systems by integrating individual software & hardware components as needed within a dynamic research environment. A Bachelors degree & experience in UNIX systems administration, email, SQL database & web interfaces are required. Primary responsibilities include support for internet-based bioinformatics tools, locally-operated bioinformatics software packages & operations of multiple servers. Relevant programming languages & their application to development environments with knowledge of software maintenance & library techniques is preferred.
